ICEM expands its Middle East software sales and support facilities
GES appointed ICEM business partner for automotive industry in United Arab Emirates and other Middle East countries.
ICEM Ltd., the leading surface modelling, analysis and visualisation software developer, announced today that it has recently signed a business partner agreement with Dubai-based GES Gulf Electronics Systems. Under the terms of the agreement, GES Trading, a division of GES Gulf Electronics Systems, becomes a reseller of the ICEM Surf software suite to the automotive industry in the Middle East.
“The automotive vehicles industry in the Middle East continues to be an important market for ICEM”, said Tim Norman, director, global operations, ICEM Ltd. “GES has the necessary technical skills and a successful track record in implementing product design and development solutions for the largest automotive vehicle companies in the Middle East, including Iran Khodro and SIPA, as well as many other associated automotive industry companies. This agreement will enable us to more effectively support our existing customers in the region and to make the most of any future opportunities as they arise.”
GES Trading, which is part of GES Gulf Electronic Systems, a subsidiary of TARADIS CAD/CAM Centre, will provide ICEM Surf software consulting, sales, implementation, training and support services to automotive industry OEMs and their Tier 1 and 2 suppliers in the Middle East, as well as to automotive and industrial design houses throughout the region.

ICEM Surf complements our existing CAD/CAM/CAE offerings with world-leading Class A surfacing and ‘reverse engineering’ capabilities that will be very attractive to the market here and that enable us to provide a total solution for automotive vehicle body and interior design development and on into detail engineering design and manufacturing.”
